The mineral waters with which Băile Felix has been blessed have proven their therapeutic qualities over hundreds of years, fully exploited in our treatment centers. The spring temperatures ranging from 40˚- 49˚C and the salt concentration of just over 1g per liter give these waters miraculous properties for most musculoskeletal disorders, classifying them as oligomineral waters.
Tourists arriving for treatment must present proof of insurance to the hotel doctor: a certificate from their workplace or a pension slip, a referral for medical services in the public health insurance system (except for clients of the Medical Center at the Internațional Hotel). For those not insured, the difference for medical services will be paid at the reception.
The balneal treatment is granted for a minimum of 5 days and includes an initial medical consultation, 15 procedures over 5 working days (excluding Saturdays, Sundays, and public holidays). Procedures corresponding to the excluded days will be rescheduled on working days.
The balneal treatments offered in the treatment center address the following conditions:
• Degenerative rheumatic conditions (spondylosis, coxarthrosis, gonarthrosis, polyarthrosis)
• Inflammatory rheumatic conditions (ankylosing spondylitis, rheumatoid arthritis)
• Extra-articular rheumatic conditions (scapulohumeral periarthritis, tendinitis, bursitis)
• Post-traumatic conditions
• Neurological conditions (discopathies, herniated disc, paresis, paralysis)
• Inflammatory rheumatic conditions (ankylosing spondylitis, rheumatoid arthritis)
• Extra-articular rheumatic conditions (scapulohumeral periarthritis, tendinitis, bursitis)
• Post-traumatic conditions
• Neurological conditions (discopathies, herniated disc, paresis, paralysis)
Contraindications for balneal treatment: feverish conditions, infectious diseases, dermatological conditions, ischemic heart disease, heart failure, high blood pressure, epilepsy, neoplasms, renal and hepatic failure, pregnancy, children 0-3 years old, tuberculosis.
